After an uncharacteristically long offseason for the HEAT, the excitement of a new season is finally starting to set in. Injuries played a part in Miami’s finish to last year, as Josh McRoberts and Chris Bosh went down for a significant amount of time.
Bosh last played on February 15 in the All-Star game before he was forced to miss the remainder of the season with blood clots on one of his lungs. At the time, it was a scary moment for the entire organization due to all the uncertainty surrounding his condition. Luckily, it was discovered soon thereafter that Bosh would make a full recovery.
