Bosh: ‘From Now On, I’m Going to the Doctor If I Get a Cold!”

Six months ago, when he was diagnosed with blood clots on his lungs, he wasn’t sure he’d live, let alone get back to the hardwood. What made the event especially dangerous and life-threatening was the fact he waited so long to see a doctor after feeling pain in his rib area.

Today he vows to pay more attention to his body, as he revealed in a feature in Sports Illustrated:

Bosh does not know for sure, but he believes his clot developed on a flight from Salt Lake City to Miami last December after he was kicked in the calf during a game against the Jazz.
