Following the Miami Heat’s finals loss to the Denver Nuggets, the Heat enter an offseason full of questions. One of which includes if they will be able to resign Gabe Vincent. While Miami could try to find an improvement at point guard over Vincent. Taking that big of a risk after the role Vincent played in their finals run just seems silly.
In the playoffs, Vincent averaged 12.7 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while shooting 40.2% from the field and 37.8% from three on 6.1 attempts. While he still had some inconsistencies, Vincent was, for the most part, a huge reason the Heat made it as far as they did.
