The Miami Heat are one of the premier free agent destinations in the NBA, and have signed their fair share of great players. Here are the three biggest free agents they've signed in franchise history:
3) Eddie Jones
Jones signed with the Heat in 2000, just as the club was starting the worst stretch in franchise history, but was undoutbedly the best player on the team during that time frame. He averaged over 17.3 points per game in four of his five full seasons with the Heat, but left the year before Miami won the title in 2006.
