The Miami Heat selected Oregon center Bol Bol with the #44 pick in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft and subsequently traded him to the Denver Nuggets.
The son of NBA legend Manute Bol only played nine games with the Oregon Ducks due to injury but has an impressive skill set. Bol Bol, who measures 7’-3”, slid way down in the draft deep into the second round and would have made an interesting project for the Heat, who instead shifted their focus on Stanford forward KZ Okpala in a trade with the Indiana Pacers earlier in the second round.
