The Miami Heat have forced a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Heat needed a win Friday night to keep their season alive, and did just that in a 103-91 victory over the Toronto Raptors.
The Heat led by nine at the half and by as many as 13. That's their largest lead of the series. The Raptors cut the lead to six in the fourth quarter, but then went ice-cold from the field. Toronto made just two baskets from the field in the final 10 minutes.
Miami was led by a monster game from Goran Dragic. He had a postseason career-best 30 points. He was 12 of 21 from the floor and added seven rebounds and four assists. Dwyane Wade had 22 points, six rebounds and five assists, taking over the game in the fourth quarter. Justice Winslow played well early and finished with 12 points. Josh McRoberts had 10 points on 5 of 8 shooting and Joe Johnson added 13.
Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan carried the Raptors, but they didn't get much help. Lowry had 26 points on 12 of 27 shooting, while DeRozan was 8 of 21 for 23 points. No other Raptor had more than eight points.
The decisive Game 7 is Sunday in Toronto. Tip-off is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
