Dwyane Wade may have lost a step or two, but the Miami Heat star is still as clutch as ever. Wade hit two jumpers inside a minute to lead the Heat past the Hornets, 97-90, forcing a deciding Game 7 back in Miami.
Wade scored 10 of his team-high 23 points in the fourth quarter, including two 3-pointers -- his first hits from beyond the arc since December of last year. Luol Deng added 21 for the Heat, who had lost three-straight against Charlotte coming into Game 6.
The Hornets got 37 points from Kemba Walker, 18 from Al Jefferson and 12 from Cody Zeller, but they had no answer for Wade down the stretch. With the loss, they will now have to try and close out the Heat on the road.
Game 7 tips off Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at AmericanAirlines Area.
