Bosh has been out since the All-Star break due to a recurring blood disorder, according to reports. A similar, but more severe condition ended Bosh's 2014-15 season, as blod clots were discovered in his lungs. Bosh and the Heat have been at odds over a possible return to the court since March, when Bosh revealed that his situation was "not-threatening" and stated his desire to return to the court.

Just yesterday, it was reported that the NBA Players Association was interested in meeting with the Heat regarding the playing status of the 11-time All-Star, but that plan could be scrapped given this new development.
In 53 games with Miami this season, Bosh had averages of 19.1 points and 7.4 rebounds. The Heat are currently in the second round of the NBA playoffs, up 1-0 on the Toronto Raptors after an overtime victory on Tuesday.
