Both Bosh and Wade's decisions come just three days after the Big Three met at a swank Miami hotel to discuss their futures, both individually and as a collective unit.
According to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press, with all three superstars opting out of contracts which were hampering the Heat from adding on any other marquee names in free agency, Miami may now have "the financial flexibility" to make noise in the free agent market while re-signing Bosh, James, and Wade to long-term deals with less of a cap hit per year.
Therefore, opting out for the Big Three could very well just be opting in to a roster with additional star power when all is said and done.
