With the Miami Heat backed into a corner, down 3-1 in the 2014 NBA Finals to a veteran San Antonio Spurs squad, the time is now for Miami to do whatever it takes to survive and get the series back to South Beach on Tuesday.
For Chris Bosh, speaking with Sekou Smith of the NBA's Hangtime blog, that means guaranteeing a Game 5 victory - even if he doesn't want to call it that:
“We’re not going down,” he said. “So we’re going to win this game tonight … plain and simple we’re going to win this game….
“I don’t care about any guarantees we’re just going to win this game,” Bosh said. “Take it how you want it.”
To be honest, it would be ludicrous to expect Bosh to say anything else. The Miami Heat's chance at a three-peat is still alive and kicking, regardless of the fact that no NBA team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals.
All in all, it should lead to some amazing fireworks on the court come Sunday night at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.
