Heat news outlets have been wondering about the statuses of both Ray Allen and Chris "Birdman" Andersen ever since they were listed as day-to-day going into today's Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers.
Per Jeff Zillgitt of USA TODAY Sports, it looks like we have a clear answer:
Chris Andersen is inactive for the Miami Heat and Ray Allen is active and expected to play in Game 5 vs. Pacers.

Losing Andersen could be a huge blow for the Heat down low. Andersen is widely regarded as one of the toughest players in the NBA, and losing his intensity on both offense and defense could prove troublesome against a desperate Indiana Pacers squad.
However, the Heat will have Ray Allen on the floor - giving the Heat extended options if they decide to go smaller on the floor in Andersen's absence.
