The Miami Dolphins hold the No. 13 overall pick in this year's draft and with the first round just hours away, the question surrounding the organization is "who will the Dolphins pick?" While it's tough to predict exactly whom the Dolphins will end up taking this year, we've listed three of the most likely candidates below.
3. Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State
If some of their top targets at other positions are off the board, Apple makes sense for Miami. He's one of several CBs the Dolphins could select, and Apple has high ceiling the team is looking for. Players like Mackensie Alexander, William Jackson and Vernon Hargreaves also make sense for Miami. Download the Chat Sports app to be alerted the second the Dolphins make their pick.
2. Myles Jack, LB, UCLA
Jack is a top five talent, but concerns about his knee could cause him to take a draft day tumble. Someone in the first round should stop that slide, and it could be Dolphins. Jack's knee could be similar to that of Jay Ajayi, and the Dolphins took him in last year's draft. Jack is a great talent and he'd be another boost to the Dolphins' LB corps. It doesn't fill a massive need, but it's strong value.
1. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
Miami desperately needs a new running back, and Elliott has the potential to be a true superstar in the NFL. He's the most complete back to come out of college in years, matchup incredible speed and elusiveness with vision and power. Plus, he's has the potential to be a strong receiver out of the backfield, making him the now rare three-down back. Don't be surprised if the Dolphins move up to land Elliott.
