When the NFL Draft kicks off in April there will be a lot discussion about the Miami Dolphins moving up for a signal caller or drafting one at pick 13. They shouldn’t. They should wait. They should fill some other holes first.
Free agency in 2019 isn’t going to be a great year for a quarterback because starting quarterbacks rarely hit the open market. Maybe a Nick Foles type to bridge the gap from 2019 to 2021 where a drafted quarterback can have a year to sit behind him. The list pretty much ends there.
In fact the Dolphins may want to just skip the whole free agency thing all together as it relates to quarterback.
