DAVIE — There’s been a lot of discussion, and with good reason, about how Miami Dolphins first-year head coach Adam Gase is altering the culture of a franchise.
The Dolphins have won five consecutive games and there has been talk about accountability, responsibility, effort, preparation and trust.
But what does it mean to strain?
It’s been kind of hard to miss that Gase has been wearing a T-shirt with the word STRAIN in caps and bold aqua. Why “strain?”
‘Finishing every play, straining every play, making sure that we were just selling out and it kind of became one of those sayings a lot of guys are using as far as making sure that we are straining every play,” Gase explained this week.
