The Dolphins have played in London three times over the past ten years. The first time being in 2007, the 1-15 season for Miami. The Dolphins lost 13-10 to the New York Giants in week eight.
Miami traveled to Wembley Stadium for a second time in 2014 and came away victorious over the Oakland Raiders, 38-14. Dolphins fans remember the win because that week head coach Joe Philbin threatened Ryan Tannehill’s starting quarterback job. Tannehill threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns that day.
The last trip across the pond for Miami came in 2015. The Dolphins lost to the New York Jets 27-14 and fell to 1-3 on the season.
