Chris Johnson, one of the NFL’s best running backs in the late ’00s and early ’10s, is meeting with the Dolphins today, a source confirmed to the Palm Beach Post.
Johnson, a former Titans star who led the league in rushing with 2,006 yards in 2009, spent the last two years with the New York Jets and Arizona.
Last season he ran for 814 yards in 11 games — that’s a pace for 1,184 yards in a 16 game season.
He only ran for three touchdowns and will turn 31 early this season.
