Tom Brady is still suspended.
A federal appeals court has rejected Brady’s attempt to get a new hearing on his “Deflategate” suspension.
Wednesday’s decision is good news for the Dolphins, as Brady’s four-game suspension is still in-tact. The Dolphins travel to take on the Patriots in Week 2 on Sept. 18.
If Brady is suspended, backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will take his place. Brady would be eligible to make his regular-season debut in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 9.
Brady can still appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
The Dolphins haven’t won in Gillette Stadium since 2008 when Miami unveiled the “Wildcat offense” to defeat New England 38-13.
