Cameron Wake will not open the 2016 season as a defensive starter. Jason Jones will start over Wake at defensive end and smart move in my honest opinion. Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph stated that Wake is capable of starting, but would prefer to use him in pass rushing packages for the time being. Wake is coming off a torn Achilles injury and appears to be the right move for the time being. I think down the stretch Wake may earn his starting spot back, he's always proven to be a valuable football player.
