Preseason game #1 is in the books as the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Miami Dolphins 19 - 3. The Dolphins chose not to play most of their starters and the starters that did play were the ones that needed some playing time or were fighting for their jobs. There were some issues that plagued the Dolphins last season that showed up during the game. The Dolphins special teams was bad last season and if last night was any indication, that has not changed. They allowed a punt return for a touchdown near the end of the game, so it’s not a good look for Danny Crossman’s unit that was already under heavy scrutiny.
