The NFL owners recently approved a bylaw that will allow teams to dress a third quarterback without having to use a roster spot on that player on gameday. The Miami Dolphins quarterback room was plagued with injuries last season as Tua Tagovailoa missed multiple games and his backups, Teddy Bridgewater and Skylar Thompson, both sustained injuries during games forcing them out. The hope is that Tua can play every game this season, but based on his history that doesn’t seem likely, until proven otherwise. Either way, the rule will be nice to have for every team as anything can happen during a game.
