Josh Boyer was relieved of his defensive coordinator duties on Thursday, meaning Mike McDaniel will be busy interviewing prospects to take over the position. Vic Fangio is the big fish on the market and it was reported last year that McDaniel would liked to have had Fangio as his defensive coordinator, but Fangio decided to sit out the 2022 season and consult with the Philadelphia Eagles. But there are plenty of other names out there. Lovie Smith and Steve Wilks have been in the league for ages and then there are the young minds in Sean Desai and Ejiro Evero.
