August has decimated the Miami Dolphins’ roster, injuring player after player all across the depth chart. It has hit starters at quarterback along the offensive line, in the defensive front seven, and in the secondary. It has hit veterans and rookies. It has been a rough month for the Dolphins.
On Monday, a little good news creeped into the storyline.
The Dolphins saw safety Nate Allen return to the practice field Monday, taking part in the team’s first joint practice with the Philadelphia Eagles. Allen has missed the last two weeks of practices as he rehabbed a groin injury.
