Going into the draft, there was no question that the Dolphins needed to add quality players to the offensive line. When Laremy Tunsil fell into the Dolphins lap at the thirteenth pick, they wisely snapped him up. With that one pick, the Dolphins not only secured a potential starter on the offensive line but also a starting linebacker and cornerback in the trade down with the Eagles.

In subsequent rounds, the Dolphins did not select another offensive lineman. The organization might publicly state the belief that the talent is already present on the roster and that competition alone will improve the play of the offensive line.
