The Miami Dolphins may have gotten some good news about quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s knee, but it appears they may be getting bad news about a player who was in the battle for the team’s starting left guard position. Ted Larsen, signed as a free agent this offseason, is feared to have a torn biceps muscle, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Larsen was one of several contenders for the Dolphins’ left guard spot, including Kraig Urbik, Anthony Steen, and rookie Isaac Asiata. Larsen was thought to be among the favorites for the job.
