The Miami Dolphins have ruled quarterback Ryan Tannehill out of Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions, head coach Adam Gase told the media on Wednesday. Tannehill was able to practice with the team, but cannot throw a football due to the injury to his shoulder. According to reports, the shoulder injury is not the same one he sustained during the team’s Week 3 contest against the Oakland Raiders, but rather was something new that came up from the team’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5.
