Today the Miami Dolphins released long-tenured veteran John Denney and now have surprisingly released defensive tackle Vincent Taylor.
The move to release Denney was a surprise but Taylor may be the bigger surprise as he was playing well and had a decent 2018 season. The Dolphins announced no corresponding moves at this time.
Miami is gutting this football team in an effort to rebuild it from the ground up but the release of a young defensive tackle doesn’t make sense. Especially with no compensation.
In 2018, Taylor had 15 tackles and 12 assists with three of those losing yards.
