What an incredible finish to Super Bowl LI. After it appeared the Atlanta Falcons were going to run away and hide, jumping out to a 21-3 lead in the first half, the New England Patriots simply would not go away. They chipped away at the Falcons lead in the second half, then put up 19 points in the fourth quarter to tie up the game and send the Super Bowl into overtime for the first time in NFL history.
Winning the coin toss gave the Patriots the ball to start the extra period, and that was all they would need.
