Starting right guard Billy Turner practices with Dolphins

DAVIE - Starting right guard Billy Turner returned to practice a day after sitting out sitting out the Miami Dolphins' padded practice.

Turner, who has helped the running game thrive since he was inserting into the starting lineup as Miami’s right guard, is nursing a knee injury he suffered last week.

His participation was likely limited, but the fact he worked on Thursday hints he should be able to play in Sunday's game against the Eagles if he doesn't suffer a setback.

The Dolphins need Turner in the starting lineup because Miami's already expected to play without starting right tackle Ja'Wuan James, who broke his big toe against the Patriots two weeks ago and will be sidelined for another two weeks.
