MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The South Florida Super Bowl Committee is pulling out the big guns in hopes of bringing the big game back to Miami.
“It’s Miami’s turn – it’s time for Miami to be back with the Super Bowl,” said former Dolphins fullback Larry Csonka.
The NFL Hall of Famer and football legend is joining the South Florida Super Bowl Committee in the pitch for the big game before NFL owners in Charlotte.
“We’re designed to hold a quarter to a half million people who come down to enjoy the sun and the season, so you plug the Super Bowl into that and you got a natural, you got a home run,” he said.
