Former Miami Dolphins right tackle Ja'Wuan James intends to sign a four-year, $52 million deal that includes $33 million guaranteed with the Denver Broncos, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The deal will keep James as the highest paid right tackle in the NFL.
James, 26, was arguably the top right tackle on the free-agent market after starting 62 games for the Miami Dolphins over the past five years.
The 2014 first-round pick (19th overall) out of Tennessee is coming off his best season as a pro. James, who was the highest-paid right tackle in the NFL last season while playing out his fifth-year option for $9.
