Miami Dolphins tight end Jordan Cameron, who has had four concussions in the past four years, will be placed on injured reserve and is considering retirement, a source confirmed to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Saturday.
Cameron hasn't played since suffering a concussion against the Browns in Week 3. The Miami Herald first reported that Cameron is considering retirement.
According to the Herald, Cameron, despite participating in non-contact activity, was told by a specialist during a recent visit that he wouldn't be 100 percent for some time.
He missed five games due to concussion issues in 2014, his last season with the Browns.
