Ryan Tannehill sets NFL record with 25 straight completions

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has set an NFL record with 25 straight completions.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill now stands alone in the NFL record books for consecutive complete passes. With his 18th straight completion to start the game against the Houston Texans, Tannehill has completed 25 consecutive passes stretching back to the end of the Week 6 contest against the Tennessee Titans.

He passes Donovan McNabb who threw 24 straight completions in November 2014, the final 10 in one game, then the first 14 in the next.

Tannehill's streak ended two plays later when Dion Sims dropped a pass.
