According to a report by Miami Herald beat writer Armando Salguero, the Miami Dolphins will host an international game during the 2020 regular season reducing their Hard Rock Stadium home games to seven instead of eight.
Following Super Bowl LIV, the Dolphins will be able to place bids on another Super Bowl. In order to be considered, the NFL has mandated that teams give up a home game and play in one of the international games.
It is not clear where the Dolphins will play next season or who they will play. The league will be making an announcement in the coming weeks regarding next year’s slate but teams may not be announced until after the season is over.
