Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins are preparing for the possibility that S Isa Abdul-Quddus may not play at all in 2017.
Abdul-Quddus suffered an injury in the neck/shoulder region towards the end of last year, which led to him being placed on season-ending injured reserve.
According to Jackson, it remains to be seen whether Abdul-Quddus will ever play in the NFL again. Even so, Jackson says that he hasn’t given up hope of returning from his injury and plans to continue to undergo medical tests.
A source tells Jackson that one concern with this injury is the swelling in the injury region.
