When the Miami Dolphins start making their roster moves in late August and early September, they are likely to only carry two but no more than three quarterbacks on their roster. This year, it will likely be just two.
Josh Rosen and Ryan Fitzpatrick will battle through camp and pre-season for the starting job and both are expected to receive their fair share of first-team work. Beyond them sits Jake Ruddock who was actually the first quarterback added to the roster this past off-season.
Ruddock has potential and is a promising young QB but is far from ready to assume a standalone back-up role.
