It’s no secret that the Miami Dolphins biggest area in need of improvement and stability is the offensive line. Since Ryan Tannehill entered the NFL in 2012 no quarterback has been sacked more times than he has.
While three of the five spots on the Dolphins offensive line are occupied by very talented players (Branden Albert, Mike Pouncey and Ja’Wuan James), it’s the two guard positions that are areas of concern.
Last week a Pro Bowl-caliber guard hit the open market when Evan Mathis was cut by the Philadelphia Eagles and former NFL linebacker Brady Poppinga thinks that the Dolphins should pursue him, but not to the point where he would have leverage.
