Early September is expected to be a pretty cool time for Daniel Kilgore.

The Miami Dolphins center, acquired in the offseason, is starting and will be making his club debut in the regular-season opener Sept. 9 against Tampa Bay. So big deal professionally.

He and his wife are also expecting their first child on Sept. 11. So big deal personally.

“Not finding out what the sex is either, so it’s a total surprise,” Kilgore said with a big smile Thursday.
