DAVIE — Peyton Manning was in the Dolphins’ building Monday.
But Manning isn’t coming out of retirement to join Miami. Instead, the future Hall of Fame quarterback was in Davie as an onlooker.
Manning took in Monday’s training camp practice from the sideline with a Tennessee Volunteers visor on to help block the sun, standing next to Dolphins director of player personnel Joe Schoen. Manning has been at the Dolphins’ training facility multiple times this offseason.
What’s the connection between Manning and the Dolphins organization? Miami head coach Adam Gase served as Manning’s quarterbacks coach in 2012 and his offensive coordinator in 2013 and 2014 with the Broncos.
