The Patriots will be looking to lock up the top seed in the AFC Playoffs, while the Dolphins are just trying to get to the end of the season.
Under NFL rules, a team may carry up to 53 players on the "active" roster throughout the season, but may only have 46 "active" players during a game. That means each team, 90-minutes before the start of the game, have to announce seven players that will not dress for the game, declaring them "inactive.
