DAVIE–Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore will be making his playoff debut Sunday at Pittsburgh, and Adam Gase was involved the last time the Steelers faced a quarterback stepping into the postseason for the first time.
That’s an obscure connection, but it offered an opening Gase to tell the story of beating Pittsburgh with Tim Tebow in a 2012 first-round game. Gase was Denver’s quarterbacks coach at the time, and Tebow knocked off the Steelers with an 80-yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas on the first play of overtime.
“I remember it being an interesting week, to say the least,” Gase said.
