MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins will once again be shorthanded on their offensive line. Starting center Mike Pouncey and right tackle Ja’Wuan James are listed inactive for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots.
Pouncey suffered a foot injury and missed the past two games. He is optimistic that he will be able to play in the Pro Bowl at the end of the month. James has a toe injury that kept him out the past eight games. He returned to practice this week but couldn’t make it back for Sunday.
Here is the Dolphins’ full list of inactives:
C Mike Pouncey
RT Ja'Wuan James
DT Earl Mitchell
LB Jelani Jenkins
OL Shelley Smith
CB Jamar Taylor
QB Logan Thomas
Miami (5-10) will be sizable underdogs against the defending Super Bowl champion Patriots (12-3).
