Nova Southeastern University says it will reopen its residence halls and resume face-to-face classes under its regular schedule for the fall 2020 semester, making it one of the first Florida schools to announce this reopening.
His semester in South Florida ended abruptly when the coronavirus forced the university to convert to distance learning in mid-March. He drove home to Illinois, not knowing when he would be back.
Just as he wasn’t expecting to leave, the 19-year-old sports management sophomore said he wasn’t expecting to make the trek back to Broward County in time for fall classes either.
