While he continues to guide his team through the offseason program, Head Coach Joe Philbin also has been finding time to look ahead.
More specifically, Philbin has been thinking about training camp and the team’s routine during that time. It’s a project that will continue for the next several weeks.
Based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement rule that says teams can open training camp no earlier than 15 days before their first preseason game, it’s fair to anticipate that the Dolphins will be opening camp right around July 29 — the preseason opener is Aug. 13 at Chicago.
