The Miami Dolphins reportedly will not have wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for at least the first four games of the season.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that the wide receiver will start the season on the physically unable to perform list, meaning he will be sidelined for the opening four contests.
"The team knew when it signed OBJ in May this was a possibility due to an offseason procedure he had," Pelissero wrote. "He's worked hard to get back, but ultimately, the team felt the best path for him was to spend a few more weeks to ease into game action so he is healthy for the duration of season.
