The bye week was used by the Miami Dolphins to reset the franchise after a dismal start to the year. The team fired their head coach, promoted the tight ends coach to the interim head coach position, and made several other staff changes. The team got more physical in practice and talked about changing the culture of a franchise that was supposed to be threatening for the AFC East division title this year, but instead has found itself 1-3 through the first quarter of the year.
