Eagles QB Carson Wentz will be on a “pitch count” during training camp in order to rest his arm for the regular season.
“To some extent, yeah,” said Wentz, via Tim McManus of ESPN. “I’m not too worried about it; I’ve been through a number of camps before. Obviously, this is a little different. But to some extent, it’s kind of built into the practice plan in general.”
McManus mentions that Wentz had 607 passing attempts last season, while he reportedly dealt with “elbow soreness.
