NFL games won’t be blacked out again in 2016

Regardless of how many tickets the Dolphins sell this year, all of their homes games are guaranteed to air on local television.

The NFL has suspended its blackout rule for the second consecutive season, according to SportsBusiness Journal’s Daniel Kaplan.

The FCC already eliminated sports blackouts on local television in 2014 but the league is still enable to enforce blackouts with private contracts set with broadcasters and cable companies.
