The Miami Dolphins are expected to welcome free agent safety Nate Allen to their Davie facilities on Friday. The former Philadelphia Eagles and Oakland Raiders defensive back could an option to replace Isa Abdul-Quddus, whose neck injury may force him to retire from the game.
Allen was a second-round pick of the Eagles in 2010, playing five seasons for the team with work at both free- and strong-safety positions. He signed as a free agent with the Oakland Raiders in 2015, then tore his MCL in the fifth game of that year.
