DAVIE, Fla. – This will be a very interesting week for defensive end Quinton Coples.
On Sunday, Coples suited up for the New York Jets. On Monday, Coples was cut by the team that drafted him in the first round in 2012.
But on Tuesday the Miami Dolphins claimed Coples via waivers, and the first team Coples will play against this weekend will be the Jets. Things have quickly come full circle for Coples, who will return to MetLife Stadium in an opposing uniform.
“Definitely, it brings chills to me to be able to go back and face them this Sunday,” Coples said.
