Newly signed Dolphins cornerback Zack Bowman will compete for a starting job.
Bowman, speaking to reporters on Tuesday, said he was told by Dolphins staff that he will have an opportunity to start. The Dolphins need another starting cornerback opposite Brent Grimes.
Bowman said he’s looking forward to competing for the job.
Bowman’s main competition would be Jamar Taylor, the 2013 second-round draft pick who’s career has been marred by injury.
Will Davis, a third-round draft selection in 2013, would also be in the running but would likely be considered the third of the three heading into the the competition.
